Reflections While Swinging |
I crave air, while my entire life, flashes through my mind in spurts. Each mistake intensified. I long for the opportunity to it all back, and start over as an infant. Vision begins to blur, as my eyes bulge from their sockets. Face blood red. Regrets infinite. I wish it never happened this way. I pray to take the pain away. I want it all to end. This is the only way. As I hear rope crackle, against the wood beam, one last gasp accompanies my last thought: If only I had another chance at life. |
